Saunders Oil Company is a 3rd generation family owned and operated business. The late Donald E. Saunders, founder of Saunders Oil Company started the oil company in 1965, in Warren, IL. The oil company initially started as a bulk delivery service of premium diesel and gasoline products. Donald ran the company with his late wife Charlene Saunders, son Brian Saunders and later Brian’s wife, Karlene. In 1985, C&D Properties was established by opening the Muscoda Mini Mart in 1985, Darlington Mini Mart in 1987, Southwest Mini Mart in 1996, Miner Towne Mart in 1998, and Miner Depot in 2016. Saunders Family properties was established in 2006 when the Stockton Travel Center opened.
Saunders Oil Company has grown into a company offering four bulk fuel delivery trucks and two tanker trucks delivering premium diesel fuel and gasoline products to the tri-state area homes, farms, and businesses.
The company is now owned and operated by Brian and Karlene Saunders of Warren, IL. Brian and Karlene’s adult children are all active in the operations of the company.
